Decor is luxe but laid-back, with plenty of deep lounge sofas and dim lighting. Thousands of tiny LED lights adorn the black walls of the reception area, where the concierge desk sports a Whatever, Whenever sign (in reference to the brand's service philosophy in theory, the concierge can hook guests up with any request, from airplane snacks to package shipping to more outlandish desires, such as a bathtub filled with chocolates). A lobby lounge/restaurant features a long, curved bar and tables with gray velourīanquettes topped with crimson throw pillows. In addition to a business center, guests can connect to free in-room WiFi.

This peace of mind comes with a price, however: the W is one of the most expensive hotels in the neighborhood, though not necessarily the most charming or best equipped. The W Paris doesn't have the hippest location for a hotel that affects such a trendy aesthetic, but the avant-garde decor and non-stop club music piped through the public areas are meant to assure guests that they are indeed at the epicenter of cool.
